  • Boston Children’s Office of Fellowship Training: Hosts valuable seminars including multiple week training sessions on developing leadership and scientific writing skills, and opportunities to give practice job talks in front of a faculty panel.
  • European Career Fair at MIT: Annual career fair, usually held each January, with recruiters for European jobs in science and technology including industrial research, research organizations, academia, consulting, and science policy.
  • Harvard Biotechnology Club: Organization devoted to fostering connections with industry through seminars, networking events, and career fairs.
  • Harvard Graduate Consulting Club: Organization devoted to preparing students and fellows for consulting careers.
  • Harvard Medical School Office for Postdoctoral Fellows: Hosts many career development events, from CV editing to discussions on various careers.
  • Massachusetts Association for Women in Science: Hosts seminars, mentoring circles, and networking and social events for women in science.
  • MassBioEd: Organization devoted to connecting postdocs with R&D companies in the Boston area and increasing academia-industry collaborations. Opportunities for postdocs to shadow scientists in industry are also available. 
  • WEST Advancing Women in the Business of Science & Technology: Aims to provide a forum and events for women in science and technology industries to network and share information about career advancement and skill development.
