Child Life Services | Donations & Community Outreach

Due to precautions around COVID-19, we’re unable to accept any tangible in-kind donations for the remainder of 2020 (including homemade items, store-bought items, and items purchased online or from our Amazon wish list).

Support our patients and families this holiday season by hosting a virtual toy drive (ask friends and family to make a monetary donation instead of donating a toy). You’ll help us stock playrooms, purchase unique items for patients, and provide support to families — especially during the holiday season. For questions, reach out to

THANK YOU so much for your continued support of Boston Children’s Hospital. Your thoughtfulness is so important to our patients and families.

Community outreach

Does your school, college, or organization want to give back? Here are some ways you can help:

Fundraise Your Way

Turn an activity you enjoy into a fundraiser for Boston Children’s. Whether it’s a neighborhood bake sale, a company golf tournament, or a fancy gala, the Fundraise Your Way team is here to help you make it a success! Register your fundraiser at to receive exclusive resources and to ensure proceeds benefit Child Life or an area of the hospital you’re passionate about. Reach out to with any questions.

Eversource (Virtual) Walk for Boston Children’s

The Eversource Walk for Boston Children's Hospital helps fund the exceptional care and groundbreaking research that are synonymous with Boston Children's. In light of the uncertainty around COVID-19, this year’s walk is moving to a virtual format. Any time from June 6-14, you can do your walk from home. Your walk can be anything you want it to be — a family walk through your neighborhood or around your house, a backyard obstacle course, a dance party in your living room. On June 14, join us for a virtual celebration on the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital Facebook page. Visit to register and email with questions. You can restrict the money you raise to support the Child Life Program too!
