The END Technology Program at Boston Children's Hospital

The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technology Program at Boston Children's Hospital is a 12-month instructional program in the art and science of clinical neurophysiologic technology.

The program runs from June to June, Tuesday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. On completion of the program, each trainee will have become proficient in carrying out routine electroencephalogram (EEG) studies. The program will also prepare students for eventual certification as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT).

Additionally, students will have substantial exposure to related types of testing, such as evoked potentials, epilepsy monitoring and sleep technology.  The program approach combines didactic (classroom) teaching, which includes the neuroscientific basis for recording and interpretation of the EEG, and extensive hands-on training recording EEGs in children.

The program also provides three additional months of optional training in Sleep and Long-Term Monitoring (LTM).
