Your feedback is important to us and helps us improve and provide the best care to all patients and families.

The Child HCAHPS survey is used by pediatric hospitals across the country. The data below shows how we do on the survey question “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?” The data shown is a Top Box Score*. Top Box is the number of times we get the highest possible score on the survey question. In this case, it is the percent of times we received a “Definitely, yes” on whether someone would recommend Boston Children's.

We are proud to be the primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, and our Nursing Department partners with 27 schools of nursing throughout Massachusetts and New England.

Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, an integrated pediatric hematology and oncology program through Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital, provides – in one specialized program – all the services of both the #1 pediatric cancer and blood disease center and the #1 pediatric hospital. We also maintain close working relationships with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and many other are hospitals in caring for our patients.

Research at Boston Children’s

Boston Children's is home to the world's largest research enterprise based at a pediatric hospital. More than 1,100 scientists comprise our research community, including nine members of the National Academy of Sciences, 11 on-staff members of the Institute of Medicine and nine members of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Current initiatives have attracted a record $225 million in annual funding, including more federal funding than any other pediatric facility.
